As a Holistic Health Coach, I create a supportive environment that enables you to articulate and achieve your goals. Very seldom do our doctors get time to explore why we are getting these migraines. We are lucky to get 15 minutes! Those 15 minutes are usually spent deciding what medication is working and which new one should we try next. While this is important, there is never a time to find out your WHY.
I would like to help you find your why so you can live a life of freedom from migraine. That’s not saying they won’t pop up from time to time, but it is POSSIBLE to live with less pain and even possibly pain-free! Throughout my education, I have been exposed to the most cutting-edge dietary theories and studied highly effective coaching techniques to help you find the lifestyle that works best for you AND minimizes your migraines.
Most approaches prescribe a particular balance to healthy eating that dwells on calories, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my clients to find and isolate their food and environmental migraine triggers. We also explore basic lifestyle improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together to see lasting effects. These changes collectively create a much larger impact than originally anticipated. We work on what YOU want to improve within the circumstances of YOUR unique migraine situation.
I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between.
